I would like to thank our players and sponsors for making this year’s golf tournament a resounding success. It was humbling to see the overwhelming industry support during tough times. The event raised almost fourteen thousand dollars for the local chapter. This money is used to pay for our monthly events, scholarships and annual awards banquet. A special thanks, goes out to our golf committee. They did an excellent job rallying the troops and making sure that we made it to the finish line. I look forward to seeing everyone in October 2011 for the next installment of what truly has become a “can’t miss” event.
Everyone who attends our annual awards dinner knows that Jeff Ferris with Propex puts together a first class video presentation of the winning projects. Those videos are now posted on our website www.aci-sandiego.org. I encourage everyone to visit our website and view these videos. They showcase the amazing concrete work being installed in San Diego. Also, take the time and tell your owners and contractors about the videos, I’m sure they would love to see their projects highlighted in these amazing clips.
Our Annual Awards Dinner will be May 6, 2011 at the Catamaran Hotel and Resort. Please see the attached flyer for award submittals.
