Since 1984, Ralph Godfrey, the president of R. Godfrey Consulting, has provided professional consulting and certified inspection services to most major flooring manufacturers, numerous national flooring contractors and retail flooring outlets. He has been involved in the Floor Covering Industry as a full time professional since 1969. Mr. Godfrey provides consulting and inspection services to the Insurance, Construction, Property Management Industries and serves as a consultant and expert witness for both plaintiff and defense elements of the legal profession. Mr. Godfrey has been retained as a consultant / expert in more than 500 litigation matters. The cases varied in size & scope from a single-family residence to extensive multi-home and large multi-faceted commercial building litigations.
Mr. Godfrey’s extensive experience pertaining to moisture intrusion conditions relative to flooring assemblies and applied coatings has helped his clients to resolve many potential problems prior to the commencement of the sub floor preparation and flooring installation process. RGC provides cutting edge scientific concrete substrate vapor emissions; pH testing and evaluation of migratory moisture related conditions involving flooring and applied coating systems.
