Adriano Bortolin, known to his friends as “A.B.”, is a Senior Sales Engineer with the Sika Corporation. Sika is a worldwide organization, having produced concrete repair and protection materials and admixtures for the construction industry for over 90 years.
“A.B.” has over 20 years experience in engineering and construction. He holds a B.S. degree in Mining Engineering (1982) from Columbia University in New York City, and is a licensed general engineering contractor in the State of California.
Prior to his employment with the Sika Corporation (1996), “A.B.” worked as a field engineer in the California offshore petroleum industry, as a project engineer for a NYC specialty restoration and waterproofing contractor, and as a field engineer and regional manager with Hilti Fastening Systems.
He resides in San Diego, where he past president of the local ICRI chapter, and is active in ACI, CSI, NACE and the SEA.
